Whole Wheat Waffles and Pancakes
Want to make waffles and pancakes with atta or whole wheat? Try this out, it is soft and tastes just as the all-purpose flour made waffles but a healthier version.
Equipment
- Waffle maker
- Pan
Ingredients
- 2 cups Whole wheat flour Atta
- 3 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Sugar (add as per your taste)
- 2 Eggs room temperature
- 2 cups Reduced Milk (if you have only whole milk, take 1cup of milk and 1cup of water)
- 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- Butter
- Chocolate Syrup (as per taste)
- Honey (as per taste)
- Powdered Sugar for decoration
- Fruits your choice
Instructions
- To a clean bowl, sift together the whole wheat, salt, baking powder
- Drop-in the sugar to the bowl
- Stir and keep it aside
- To another clean bowl, put two eggs
- Beat well until frothy
- Pour milk and mix
- And then add oil and vanilla extract
- Mix well
- Then add the dry ingredients to the wet
- Stir until no lumos
- Once it is done, keep it aside until the waffle maker is ready
- Butter inside of the waffle maker (this is not necessary but do it if the maker manual calls for)
- Then pour 1 cup of the batter to the maker and spread it atound
- And close the waffle maker and wait for 4-5mins
- After that open and take the waffle off the waffle maker
- And for pancake, pour 1 ladle of the batter to a buttered pan
- Wait for 2-3mins on medium flame
- Flip it over
- Then when the edges turn slighlty brown, take the pancake off the pan
- Place Fruits on top of the waffle and pancake
- Then pour chocolate syrup or honey
- Decorate with powdered sugar.
